A quote from the Holy Bible, your children shall pay for what your mothers and fathers did. I add, or did not do! Just the other day I heard on one of the news channels that a 13-year-old along with other teenagers murdered another teen stabbing her multiple times. There seems to be a rise in crime as well as victims among children! I ask, who is to blame and who is responsible for these children’s actions? This was a horrible crime no mistake about it, but let us examine how could it have been prevented. (1) The family history and family present-day background played a part. (2) The quality of education and the type of outside interest after school played a part (3) The type of television and video programs watched and how often, played a part (4) The type of adult supervision if any played a part. The reality of the crime is, that it was committed by children. We are a product of our environment. Being an adult simply means that within a certain time frame one should have the experience to know right from wrong. If a child has parents who value education and has strong moral values are not very likely to commit such a horrific crime. On the other hand, if a child is born through no fault of his or her own to junkie parents, and live in the environment of sex, drugs, and violence is it the child’s fault as to what he or she become? There is enough blame to go around!! The further humans get away from humanity and obeying the Laws of God, the more human’s become like animals. We have no one to blame but ourselves for the conditions here on this planet.
